Miners' Museum - Restaurant

The quaint and beautiful Miners' Village Restaurant, with its early-style furniture, large brick fireplace, plastered walls and kerosene lamps, evokes an earlier age. Choose from a wide selection of fresh fish, local chowders and fruit dishes, served with Cape Breton hospitality!

Daily: 12 noon - 8 PM

In 1873, there were eight coal companies operating in Cape Breton. The miners were paid from 80 cents to $1.50 per day and boys were paid 65 cents.
